“I believe the theme of “Empowerment”, falls hand-in-hand with the theme of growth. I have had a lot of time for personal growth due to isolation and the pandemic. When I arrived back at Kansas State University this fall, I wasn’t sure how motivated I was going to be since I had spent months online and at home. While taking FASH375, I was able to grow creatively through my projects. This was empowering for me because it was one of the first times since March that I was excited about the work I was creating. My project embodies empowerment through my experiences with growth and isolation. ”
