The Local Fashion Global Impact (LFGI) project engages our students in a fair-trade artisan supply chain. We annually purchase 20-30 meters of hand-loomed fabric from a Guatemalan weaving cooperative to naturally dye and create products, which are sold locally to finance fabric orders. Students engage in a ‘product of learning’ sales model by applying skills in market research, design, quality control, branding, promotion, and sales. Learn more by viewing our video.
