The theme of this past year’s Met was meant to be “About Time: Fashion and Duration.” My view of the theme was by a sense that this is a time for shaping up and showing what you stand for. When I think of the concept of empowerment, I reflect on how change, fashion, and creativity are empowering in themselves. Fashion makes people feel empowered. ”
